Our Sunday Worship Experience starts at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays at 10307 Eamon Road NW, right beside the Tuscany LRT Station. Come a few minutes early and grab a beverage at our Coffee Bar, which is located in our foyer, and is available 30-45 minutes before our Worship Experience.
Transit is our Children’s program and it runs for the duration of the sermon (children are dismissed after the announcements). Transit Check-In begins 10 minutes before our Worship Experience in the Reception. One of our Transit hosts will be happy to help you Check-In in our Reception. Transit has a fun and interactive environment created with your kids in mind, and runs for children aged 4 to 8 years old.
In addition to Transit, we also have a nursery for your infants, and a Mother’s Room for moms who need a quiet space to feed & care for their little ones. Our Nursing Mother’s Room features comfortable seating, soft lighting, a change station and an audio feed of the service, so you don’t need to miss anything that is happening during our Worship Experience.
Since we have a large Hispanic community, in our services we offer simultaneous translation into Spanish. Just come and pick up your headphones at reception or ask one of our ushers.
We look forward to meeting you!
We are a local church who believe that God has a plan and a purpose for you and your family! We started North West Family Church more than 20 years ago, when our Senior Pastors, Roy & Marilyn Holmquist, took the bold decision of following God's call to open a church in Calgary, Alberta. For 10 years the church functioned in several locations until the congregation made a step of faith and bought the land where today the church's building is located. God is faithful!
Today, we are one of the most socially active churches in the North West quadrant of Calgary with a strong commitment to serve the community and a passion to help you find your purpose and place in this life through a growing relationship with Jesus.
Maybe you grew up at church, and now that you have a family of your own you are thinking about finding a place... or maybe you’ve come to the place where you have everything in life that you’ve ever wanted, and yet it still seems as if something is missing. No matter where you are in the journey of life, we have a place for you.

The first and most important way to get connected is by signing up to our email list. It contains everything going on during the week at North West Family Church, special announcements and our upcoming events.
In NWFC our purpose and goal is to rely on God and His directives first. When prayer precedes abilities and skills, it helps us engage in ministry that endures for eternity! It is for this very same reason that we've decided to transform our church from "a church with a prayer program" to be a real House of Prayer. Join us and let's seek God's Presence together in one accord.
In NWFC we also believe in the strength of Life Groups and we would love for you to join one. Our Life Groups are a time of discussion, prayer, fellowship and most importantly a great way to join the Church's community. Through them we run different video series and courses during the year focusing on several practical aspects of life such as family, parenthood, marriage, and more. Join us as we share life together!
Finally, at North West Family Church we believe that church should be a place where every person has the opportunity to serve God. Whether that's playing on the worship team or cleaning the sanctuary, every member is important and valued. We would love to find a place for you to serve at our church. You will feel renewed, complete, and useful in God's hand.
The understanding of Jesus Christ is hugely important. He is the Saviour of the world and He wants a relationship with you.
But who is He? What sort of man is this?
