We are one-third thru our annual 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Thank you for all who are participating in some way in these exciting days of prayer. If you have chosen to join with many others in praying and fasting, we are sure that you have experienced things that the enemy of your soul is using to try to discourage you from continuing, but we encourage you to persevere and keep praying because we are indeed engaged in a spiritual battle. As Scripture says, “do not become weary in well-doing”, for the Lord is with you and in you. His Holy Spirit will sustain you and lead you to triumph.
We are believing that this year will indeed be a Year of IMPACT for NWFC but also that each of our lives will IMPACT others for the sake of the gospel and the glory of God (Matt. 5:14-16). We want to encourage you to pray throughout these 21 Days and this year and to allow God to speak with you. A prayer guide has been made available for you and we encourage you to journal and record the things that you are learning and hearing from God. We have ordered and will soon have Journals available to assist you in your devotional and prayer life.
During these 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, let’s pray specifically for:
1. Religious Freedom in Canada to be protected.
2. NWFC to become a “house of prayer”
3. NWFC to become disciples who in turn “make disciples” as commanded by Jesus
Be praying that your life will IMPACT others this year as we believe God for great things in all the families of NWFC. God bless you and you are all in our prayers,
Roy Holmquist - NWFC Senior Pastor
