Our Student Ministry is called Ignite youth because we really want to see young people passionately and intensely seeking God, and filled with the power of the Spirit, setting others in their generation on fire for Him.
The great thing about ignite is that for some students we need to get a fire burning. They don't have a relationship with Jesus, never heard about Him, or never had an encounter with Him. So we kindle that fire. We nurture that spark and fan it into a flame.
Others know Jesus but the fire inside them isn't growing, it isn't an all consuming fire, and so for those students we seek to intensely heat that flame until it is a raging inferno.
How do we do all this?
Through personal connections with every individual. It's about a personal relationship with Jesus, so why shouldn't we have a personal relationship with each other? We encourage students to bring their friends to events, let them get to know us as pastors and leaders, let them build relationships with other students, and let God prepare their hearts to receive the good news as we come together for worship and teaching sessions each month.
Ignite youth meets every Friday at 7:30pm
for a current list of upcoming youth events, please see our events page for times and locations.
