At North West Family Church we believe that Prayer is absolutely vital to corporate growth within the church. It sustains the momentum of the church by releasing the Holy Spirit to work on behalf of the purposes of God. On the other hand, a lack of prayer causes us to fall back on our own abilities and skills, moving us to become self-reliant.
In NWFC our purpose and goal is to rely on God and His directives first. When prayer precedes abilities and skills, it helps us engage in ministry that endures for eternity!
It is for this very same reason that every year, for many years now, during the month of January, we commit ourselves to 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting when we pray and fast for our church, our community, our families and ourselves, believing that during this month the Holy Spirit will manifest His Presence in our lives and will draw us close to His perfect will.
Also during the year we hold weekly prayer meetings and every Sunday we have a time of corporate prayer right before our worship service at 9:30 am. We encourage you to join us in one of these meetings as we pray and seek His Presence together and in one accord.
